Health authorities reported on Thursday 2,994 hospitalizations linked to COVID-19 in Quebec, an increase of 117 cases compared to the day before.
Of these, 272 patients are in intensive care, 9 more than the day before.
Quebec also reports 45 additional deaths from the disease and officially lists 8,793 new cases of COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 775,720 infections have been officially reported, and 12,125 of them have been shown to be fatal.
