Quebec reported 1,747 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as well as 7 additional deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 469,356 infections have been reported, and 11,618 of them have been shown to be fatal.
The health authorities count 293 people hospitalized because of the disease in Quebec, an increase of 25 compared to the day before. Of these, 75 are in intensive care, 2 more than on Monday.
