(Pittsburgh) Added to the NHL pandemic protocol, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan will be sidelined in the game where Pittsburgh will host the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
Assistant Todd Reirden will be at the helm of the Penguins, who are trying to stop a three-game losing streak.
Eight club players have been on protocol since September, including captain Sidney Crosby this week.
Kristopher Letang, Marcus Pettersson, Brian Dumoulin and Chad Ruhwedel are also recent cases.
Zach Aston-Reese, Jeff Carter and Jake Guentzel were on the list in connection with COVID-19, but have since resumed playing.
