The National Hockey League (NHL) announced Friday that its regular season games “will not resume until” December 28. The games were originally scheduled to be played from December 27.
To “allow the League to analyze the results of tests carried out at the level of the League and to assess the state of readiness of the clubs, the target date of resumption of matches will be postponed for an additional day”, may – read in a press release released by the NHL.
However, the teams will be able to resume their training from December 26. The NHL is expected to release more details regarding the resumption of games by the end of the day Sunday.
