Nineteen million French people have a period of two months to receive the third dose of the vaccine from Saturday, November 27, for people aged 18. The government wants to be reassuring about the available stocks.
After three weeks of closure, the teams put everything back in place in this vaccination center in the Paris suburbs. “All services have been on the alert since this morning”, explains Nathalie Heisser, head of the vaccination center Garches (Hauts-de-Seine). The objective of this center, after having administered 42,000 vaccines in six months: inject 2800 doses per week.
Government announcements have delivered a scramble for the platforms. 1,200,000 appointments have already been taken. Doctors, liberal nurses, pharmacists are also participating in this massive new campaign. Three hundred centers will reopen soon, so that the booster dose is administered as quickly as possible to the 19 million eligible people.
