Load shedding in Chaudière-Appalaches
On the South Shore of Quebec, hospitals are forced to do more load shedding when the capacity for hospitalizations has been reached. Some 53 people are in hospital and 12 people are in intensive care.
The CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches has thus confirmed that the load shedding planned during the holiday season is extended until January 10. The load shedding will repatriate healthcare workers and reassign them to hot areas to treat patients with COVID.
Nothing to help the situation, there are currently 684 employees absent from the network in the region due to the virus.
