COVID-19 in Quebec | 49 fewer hospitalizations, 11 deaths

Quebec reported 49 fewer hospitalizations on Saturday than the day before, but deplored 11 new deaths linked to COVID-19.

The total number of beds occupied in connection with COVID-19 fell to 1,239, while authorities reported a drop of 49 hospitalizations on Saturday. Intensive care now has 30 patients, six fewer than the day before.

Quebec deplores 11 new deaths, bringing the sad toll to 15,411 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

On the infection side, the province recorded 577 new cases of COVID-19. Remember that this figure only reflects a portion of the total number due to limited access to PCR screening tests.
