In the health network, there are 1,322 hospitalizations related to COVID-19, an increase of 47 compared to the previous day. Of the total number of hospitalized patients, 67 are in intensive care. This means an increase of five people in 24 hours.

The 1,322 people currently hospitalized represent an increase of 24% over one week. In intensive care, the 67 patients represent a 22% increase over one week.


The number of people in hospital is expected to continue to rise over the next few days, with the number of admissions continuing to outpace discharges. On average, there are 36 more patients every day.

Fifteen more people have succumbed to COVID-19.

The 15 new deaths reported on Saturday bring the daily average calculated over seven days to 11. The trend is up 16% over one week.

Authorities reported 3,061 new infections on Saturday. These numbers likely reflect only a portion of total infections, due to limited access to PCR testing.

The 3061 new cases bring the daily average to 2614. The trend is thus up 52% ​​over one week.
