A total of 1,350 people are hospitalized, 28 more than the day before. This represents a 24% increase over one week.

The 72 intensive care patients with COVID-19 represent a jump of 29% over one week. The number of people in hospital is expected to continue to rise over the next few days, with the number of admissions continuing to outpace discharges. On average, there are 37 more patients every day.

The seven new deaths bring the daily average calculated over seven days to 11. The trend is up 25% over one week.

The 2,581 new cases reported on Sunday bring the daily average to 2,714. The trend is thus up 46% over one week. These figures likely reflect only a portion of total infections, due to limited access to PCR screening tests.

The proportion of Quebecers who received a first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 is 86.7%. In total, 83% of the population received their second dose. Half of Quebecers have received a third dose of vaccine.
