the Covid-19 in Europe is still making progress, and some countries are taking drastic measures. In Austria, “the announcements of closures are falling one after the other”, reports the journalist Laurent Desbonnets, duplex from Vienna (Austria), Friday November 19. In the country, restaurants will close their doors, school is no longer compulsory and teleworking is once again the norm.
On the German side, “in the region of Bavaria, all the Christmas markets have already been canceled altogether”, continues the journalist. People who are not vaccinated should “drastically reduce their contacts” and be satisfied with gatherings limited to five people. “In the districts, there are some where the incidence rate is greater than 1000, it is an almost total reconfinement”, Laurent adds Desbonnets, which specifies that similar announcements were made in several German regions. The German Minister of Health spoke on Friday 19 November “national emergency”.
