During the week of June 26 to July 2, 800,000 purchases of self-tests were made in pharmacies. This is much more than the previous month, but twice less than during the peak of contamination at the end of January. Self-tests are convenientprovided you use them well, recalls infectious disease specialist Dr. Benjamin Davido. “The limit of self-tests is that we know that they can be lacking, especially when we have no or few symptoms.“ Another recommendation: if the self-test is negative, repeat it the following days in the event of symptoms or if you are contact case.
