The new variant of Covid-19 is spreading in Europe. To limit its spread, strict measures are in place everywhere.

The queues are endless at Johannesburg airport (South Africa) Sunday November 28. Tents were set up in express to carry out PCR tests at Cape Town airport. Leaving South Africa is now an obstacle course. For fear of the variant of Covid-19 Omicron, many countries have cut flights from southern Africa. In Amsterdam (Netherlands), 61 passengers who tested positive are in quarantine in a hotel. Omicron is spreading in Europe. After Belgium, Germany, Belgium or the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic announces a first case. In France, it’s a matter of hours, admitted the Minister of Health Olivier Véran.

In turn, countries are toughening upEntrance on the territory. Next week, anyone traveling to the UK will have to take a PCR test on arrival and self-isolate for two days until the result. Israel prohibited, from Sunday evening, entry into its territory to any foreign visitor for two weeks.
