In schools, the health protocol is again lightened. What do parents think?

Only a week after the start of the school year, the health protocol in schools changes. Now, when a student tests positive for Covid-19, their classmates are no longer required to take a PCR or antigen test. Three free self-tests are sufficient. “Self-tests, I don’t find it very pleasant to impose them on children. There are children who are nonetheless resistant “, comments a mother, in front of a Strasbourg school (Bas-Rhin).

“It may even be more traumatic for parents to have to do it”, says another mother. “I don’t know what is normal: that teachers check, that parents are asked to test their children, once, twice, three times?”, wonders a dad, who does not find the protocol very consistent. Another novelty is that it is no longer imperative to come and collect your child immediately.
