La Belle Province has reported 1,747 new infections and seven deaths, after two consecutive days of decrease in cases.
Beds are also busier in hospitals, which have 25 additional people in dedicated COVID-19 departments, for a total of 293 hospitalizations. Two more patients were admitted to intensive care (75).
Nearly 9,459 children aged 5 to 11 have also reached out to receive their first dose of the vaccine in the past 24 hours. Over the same period of time, 22,176 people received their 3e dose.

Across the Ottawa River, Ontario has reported 1,429 new cases and five additional deaths.
The number of hospitalizations also continued to rise in the most populous province, with 385 patients listed (+132).
