Invited in the Jimmy Kimmel Live, comedian Courteney Cox made a funny revelation: She sold her house because it was haunted! It’s a story worthy of the best horror movies. And that’s pretty good because the 57-year-old actress, who recently admitted to botox abuse, is currently promoting her upcoming horror series ShiningVale.
Also when the famous presenter asked her if she believed in ghosts and had ever dealt with such a creature, the star of Friends gave a rather astonishing answer. “I had an experience like this before, I didn’t believe it at first, but it was when I was living in a house in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles, which had belonged to Gypsy Rose Lee and the singer Carole King, she said before continuing. So one day Carole came to my house and told me that there had been a terrible divorce in this house and that it was haunted, I replied ‘I don’t care’, then other people close of me who my friends told me they had felt the presence of a woman at the edge of the bed but again I said ‘I don’t care‘” The actress then dropped in a tone of humor: “I was so in awe of Carole King that I didn’t pay attention to what she was saying.”
“But one day the doorbell rang at my house and when I opened and expected to see a delivery man or something, it was a man who said to me ‘do you know your house is haunted? ‘ I said ‘yes, why? how do you know that’ and he said ‘because there is someone behind you’ so at that moment I said ‘ok let’s sell this house!‘” said the actress in general astonishment.
The presenter then asked the partner to David Arquette in Scream if she had really sold for that reason, she replied, “Probably, after you think about it all the time and you start seeing things.“After hearing this spine-chilling anecdote, we understand better why the actress is in the cast of the upcoming horror series ShiningVale !
