court acquits voluntary reaper who refused DNA tests

The Dijon resident, Nicolas M. roofer-zinc worker of 49 years and voluntary mower since 2010, released this Thursday morning by the judicial court of Dijon. He was prosecuted for refusing to submit to DNA tests after a mowing operation of a plot of GMO sunflowers in 2017 in the Drôme.

This is not a first in Dijon

This is the 4th time in Dijon that a member of this collective has been released according to this GMO mower who says he regrets “that we mobilize justice for not much”. In addition with 400 euros the court partially accedes to the request of the defense lawyer who claimed 500 euros in damages.

The voluntary mowers would be about twenty in Côte-d’Or, according to the collective they would be about twenty in France to have benefited from the same judgment. Corn “in any case the fight continues because the problem (of GMOs) is still not resolved” he commented on leaving the court.
