St. Peter’s Church
St. Peter’s Church is mentioned as early as the 6th century. It was burned by the Calvinists in 1567, rebuilt and dedicated in 1583 to Saint Pierre, then besieged by the troops of the League in 1587 and delivered by the Duke of Nevers.
In the 19th century, the portal was remodeled… Excavations revealed the presence of 6 sarcophagi dating from the 7th and 8th centuries.
