Will the Canaries succeed in lifting a fourth Coupe de France? FC Nantes faces AS Monaco this Wednesday, March 2 at La Beaujoire, from 9:15 p.m., in the semi-final of the competition. Antoine Kombouaré’s players will have to be wary of the Monegasques, only two lengths in the Ligue 1 standings.
For eight finals played, the yellow house won the Coupe de France onlythree times, in 1979 (4-1 ap against Auxerre), in 1999 (1-0 against Sedan) and in 2000 (2-1 against Calais). Since then, the Nantes have not managed to cross the bar of the semi-finals. Let’s hope that this year, they go to the Stade de France!
