Country Festival: Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan on stage

First announced for summer 2020, the new country music festival LASSO will finally be able to take off with its very first edition, this summer.

The evenko promoter’s festival (Osheaga, ÎleSoniq) will be held on August 12 and 13 at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

For this first year, evenko has called on the American singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley, whose tenth album will be released soon. While Bentley will headline the first night, it will be Luke Bryan who will close the second day.

Among the other artists announced, Old Dominion will be in Montreal for the first time. The Nashville band won awards at the ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards in 2020 for the piece One Man Band.

Canadian Tenille Townes will be present, she who won four awards at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards in 2019.

Tennessee-born singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini is also among the artists, who won Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Awards in 2017.

On the Quebec side, LASSO will also give way to a few artists from here, including Matt Lang, Sara Dufour, Five Roses, Brittany Kennell and Léa Jarry.
