Beware of violent gales in western Brittany. Météo-France placed three departments in the region on Saturday, December 30, on orange alert for violent winds. This concerns Côtes-d’Armor, Finistère and Morbihan. The alert is valid from 9 p.m., as the disruption is expected on “the Breton tip in the evening”. It should last until 4 a.m. Sunday.

“This windy passage could cause wind gusts of around 90 to 100 km/h inland and up to 120 km/h on the coasts. Higher values ​​are possible on exposed capes”specifies Météo-France, which also mentions “brief but sometimes violent gusts of wind requiring particular vigilance in a context of saturated soils”.
