Côte-d’Or is desperately looking for school bus drivers for the start of the school year

Twenty school bus driver positions are to be filled at Keolis between the agglomeration of Dijon and that of Chalon-sur-Saône, a comparable situation at its main competitor Transdev. The two carriers are struggling to recruit for part-time jobs and very restrictive working hours. Laure Janolin, HR manager at Keolis acknowledges that the problem of attractiveness goes beyond remuneration.

So, maybe it will be necessary to trigger plan B, namely to have drivers work for school buses whose primary mission is to transport all travellers. At Transdev, the territorial director, Charles Troubat calls it tricks. “We will provide all the circuits. We can put a big bus to serve two lines and thus have only one driver.”
