Cortina d’Ampezzo World Cup | Another gold medal for Eliot Grondin

(Cortina D’ampezzo) Quebecer Eliot Grondin won the gold medal in snowboard cross on Saturday at the World Cup in Cortina d’Ampezzo.


Grondin won all four races in which he took part to reach the top step of the podium for a fifth time this season. He also set the fastest time in qualifying, in 38.60 seconds.

The American Jake Vedder was decorated with silver, while the Australian Jarry Hughes donned a bronze charm.

Grondin is currently in first place in the general ranking, having also obtained two gold medals and another bronze since the start of the season.

In the women’s category, Canadian Meryeta O’Dine took 11e rank.
