Corsica Linea sailors blocked, Wednesday morning and until further notice, a Corsica Linea boat and the Corsica Ferries Mega Victoria in the port of Bastia, reported, Wednesday March 13, France Bleu RCFM. These employees have been on strike since Monday against the opening of a passenger and freight link between Toulon and Corsica via Méridionale, which belongs to CMA-CGM.

Corsica Linea employees denounce a jeopardy of the Corsica-Continent public service delegation (DSP) and believe that the current conflict would benefit Corsica Ferries, reports France Bleu RCFM.

Late Tuesday afternoon, around thirty sailors from the Corsica Linea peacefully blocked the departure of the Mega Victoria, a Corsica Ferries ship, which was to make the night crossing to Toulon, specifies France Bleu RCFM.
