Corbeil-Essonnes hospital hit by a cyberattack

Hackers attacked the Corbeil-Essonnes hospital network (Essone). “It is the entire operation of the hospital which has been seriously disrupted for 24 hours. If hacking is a real problem for the administrative sector of the hospital, vse is not the only problem caused by the attack. “The activity of the operating room was also greatly slowed down. Some operations even had to be deprogrammed“, reveals Valentine Meyer. The cyberattack took place on the night of Saturday August 20 to Sunday August 21. “The cyber hackers demand a ransom of several million dollars. An investigation has been opened by the Paris package”concludes the journalist.
