“The searches of Tuesday, November 23 will unfortunately not have enabled the staff of the Régie de police de Memphrémagog (RPM) and its partners to locate the young Coralie Lessard, or even to find a single clue,” said the Régie de police de Memphrémagog (RPM), Tuesday late afternoon.

After more than three days of intensive research, the RPM suspends its proceedings for the night and will complete the search of the sector targeted by the investigation from Wednesday morning.

Only a few targeted locations will remain to be verified by RPM and Sûreté du Québec (SQ) staff. A drone technician will also travel to the site and thus add to other technical means that have already been used until now, such as the helicopter, all-terrain vehicles, the dog handler and the water craft.

Worry

More than 72 hours have passed since his disappearance and the parents are increasingly plagued by concern.

Her mother, Annie Lessard, still rules out the hypothesis of running away to explain the disappearance of her 15-year-old daughter, who left to walk on the bike path.

Her father, Stéphane Fortin, prefers to think that due to personal problems, Coralie is hiding somewhere and hopes that she will soon give sign of life.

Police, firefighters and volunteer members of Sherbrooke / Haut Saint-François search and rescue have been involved in the search since Sunday. About sixty of them have combed a large wooded area of 10 square kilometers between the Domaine du Parc de l’Estrie campsite in Omerville and the river path and that of Venice in Sherbrooke.

Coralie Lessard is 1.60 meters tall, weighs around 45 kilos, has long, blonde brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black pants and hoodie with the WLKN inscription on it.

Hunters who have a cache in this area and who are preparing to retrieve their surveillance cameras are asked to check their content in case the teenager appears there.

People who may have information are asked to contact the Régie de police Memphrémagog at (819) 843-3334.
