converted to Islam, this emblematic candidate announces building “the first Luxembourg mosque”

Dylan Thiry really likes to talk about himself. The reality TV candidate, revealed in 2017 by Koh-Lanta: Cambodiaseason during which he had made his own by landing on the island with expensive moccasins before being quickly eliminated by his teammates, continues to make a name for himself through various controversies and participation in reality TV shows. Pinned a few months ago by the DGCCRF, the man to whom for several weeks a relationship with Ayem Nour has been attributed has experienced numerous contentious affairs, such as a usurpation of the title of Mister Luxembourg, a false partnership with the house of luxury Gucci, a promotion of products supposed to cure cancer, or another case of pimping and child trafficking mentioned by rapper Booba.

For now, Dylan Thiry has never been implicated in any of his affairs, for which he has never been prosecuted. This Saturday March 2, 2024, the Luxembourg influencer announced his new major project to his hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Having converted to Islam for several years, Dylan noticed that there were no mosques in Luxembourg. Neither one, nor two, the reality TV candidate had an idea: build, with his hands and with his money, the very first mosque in Luxembourg ! An exceptional project, but which will obviously have to be supervised by the authorities, even if they seem to forget it…

A multi-million euro project

“I had a revelation. I would like to be the first Luxembourger to build the first official mosque in Luxembourg. I know there are a lot of people who will hinder me. This is my country, I grew up here, I was born here, and there is no mosque. I would like to be the first convert to Islam to build a mosque in my country. That’s my goal.” declared the young man, before qualifying his remarks by reminding him that he will need “permissions” to be able to carry out your project successfully.

According to an article in JDD published in July 2023, the construction of a mosque in France would cost around ten million euros. Moreover, the reconstruction of the Marseille mosque, which has been in effect for several years, would cost the French State the staggering sum of 22 million euros.
