It is a political offensive by Emmanuel Macron, in the run-up to the European elections. On the morning of Monday February 19, in the columns of Humanitythe President of the Republic evokes the entry into the Pantheon of the former communist resistance fighter Missak Manouchian, and adds: “Far-right forces would be advised not to be present, given the nature of Manouchian’s fight.”
A strategy of the president facing the RN which seems changing
An argument to which the National Rally (RN) immediately responded. “The President of the Republic does not have to sort out who, according to him, are the good or bad elected representatives of the French Republic”, estimated Jordan Bardella, president of the RN.
