The organization of a karting competition, on July 27, in the very enclosure of the prison of Fresnes disturbs even the Keeper of the Seals. For the director of the penitentiary center, it is a useful reintegration action.

A Koh Lanta-style animation, in the heart of the prison, where some prisoners face guards in a good-natured atmosphere. Among the events, obstacle course, tug of war over a swimming pool, or even kart racing within the confines of the Fresnes remand center (Val-de-Marne). Images of the event, organized on July 27, broadcast on social networks on Friday August 19, caused several elected officials from the National Rally and Republicans to react, such as deputy Éric Ciotti.

The organizer of these activities, Djibril Dramé, has already produced several editions of his game in the Parisian suburbs, notably organizing activities between young people and the police. This is the first time that his concept has been adapted in a prison. His partner, Enzo Angelosanto, producer of “Kohlanness”, defends an activity intended to lighten the daily lives of prisoners. The Ministry of Justice claims to have given the green light, but that the activities do not correspond to the project initially presented. An administrative investigation was launched within the prison administration.
