containers for a new way of seeing habitat

Discover the Module Cube website.

Today is World Habitat Day. Energy crisis. You have to live better. Materials crisis. You have to live cheaper, find other sources of raw materials to build. And if we recycled the existing? Have you ever thought of living in a shipping container?

Inevitably, it doesn’t seem very comfortable, but let’s look at the idea of Tristan Pierrevelcin d’Ammerschwihr. In 2018, he created the company module cube, to offer another vision of housing construction. It accompanies you for your extension projects (offices, swimming pool shelter, summer kitchen, bungalox, garden shed, garage…), all in containers. They already exist, and after years of good and loyal service, they are scrapped when they could be transformed. A container is a floor, 4 walls or doors and a roof: from 14 to 28 m², to be fitted out according to your wishes and needs. And without a building permit… And to live in it, it works too, it’s modular. The modules, precisely, several are presented for full use on its site module cube point fr. You can even rent containers for events. The cube module offices are in Ammerschwihr, and the workshop in Sundhoffen, a real Alsatian pride!
