The barbecue is a market that has evolved over the past ten years. There are now models at all prices, including luxury. So how do you choose the right barbecue?

Barbecues are becoming more and more sophisticated to meet all requirements: easy to turn on, use or clean. An entry-level model costs around fifty euros, and several thousand for multifunction devices. Fouad Bensadoka barbecue enthusiast, owns three of them: two charcoal barbecues and one electric. According to him, each barbecue has its functionality: a charcoal barbecue is fine for meat, but not for cooking vegetables.

Today, nearly two out of three French people over the age of 25 possess their own device. If the charcoal barbecue remains the most popular, there are other options. “Gas barbecues have the advantage of being immediately operational (…). The electric barbecue is more reserved for small spaces, balconies, small terraces in town”explains Eric Moleyfounder of Barbecue & co.
