Work on the Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne diversion is about to be completed. The construction of the imposing building will soon be completed. According to the Pays de Château-Gontier, which posted a video on Facebook, the viaduct will be delivered in May. The commissioning of the northern bypass of the city is scheduled for the start of the school year in September.
This spectacular bridge, 300 meters long, 25 meters high, 2,000 tonnes of steel and 4,000 cubic meters of concrete, will be the longest engineering structure built on the Mayenne road network. It will consist of an apron for the passage of cars, with a three-meter-wide cycle path. The steel frame, the arch, will also serve as pedestrian bridgeunder the apron.
