It’s no secret that for several years Cyril Hanouna and Yann Barthès have been in direct competition. The reason ? Their shows, “Daily” (TMC) and “Touche pas à mon poste! are airing at the same time and both are very successful among viewers.
A rivalry and a very different editorial line which has already created some tension between the two hosts… The proof, in March 2021, Cyril Hanouna declared on the air about “Daily”: “Each time, I call them to discuss and they do not answer me, whether it is the journalists of this program or the presenter. More recently, in December 2022, the host of “Touche pas à mon poste! ” directly attacked Yann Barthès, declaring with irony live: “Now it’s time to do a serious show, a show on the media… I put on my headset because like Yann Barthès, if they don’t give me my headset, I don’t know what to say on the air.”

Guest on the waves of South Radio this Tuesday, March 21, 2023, the columnist of the program “Daily” Julien Bellver was therefore questioned about TPMP. Thus, the 40-year-old journalist let it be known that he was attentive to the competition and that he therefore watched passages of the program broadcast on C8 carefully.
“We look at excerpts, because we are on the air at the same time. The extracts are still quite shared, especially lately… Me, I am rather a consumer of extracts, I obviously watch what Cyril does what Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine does on France 5”he said transparently.
And to add in reference to the latest controversies: “In recent weeks he (Cyril Hanouna) has made astonishing editorial choices… Afterwards, it’s his editorial line, it’s his show. He does what he wants ” declared Julien Bellver who nevertheless concluded : “The program which was his and which was a media program, and no longer a program commenting on miscellaneous facts”.

Always on the air South Radio, Julien Bellver answered a question from Gilles Ganzmann regarding his future in ” Daily”… And the least we can say is that the journalist specializing in media news does not intend to leave Yann Barthès anytime soon. “I had proposals, I will not say which ones… […] But I’m so happy at Quotidien that there’s no reason for me to leave.”said the one who was invited on the occasion of the Ten years of marriage for all.
