The candidate for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada Patrick Brown was ejected from the race by the authorities of the party.

Elections committee chairman Ian Brodie said in a statement that the party has become aware of “serious allegations of wrongdoing” from Mr Brown’s campaign which appear to breach the funding rules of the Canada Elections Act.
