The leader of the Coalition avenir Québec finds himself on the defensive again in the third link file, after a journalist revealed that his cabinet did indeed have studies on the project in hand.
“Mr. Legault lied. He lied to hundreds of thousands of Quebecers on several occasions, especially during the last debates, ”protested Conservative candidate Éric Duhaime on Tuesday morning.
The outgoing prime minister said he did not have a “city center to city center” study concerning his tunnel project. But Radio-Canada revealed on Tuesday that a study on this subject had been sent last year to the Ministry of Transport and to Mr. Legault’s cabinet.
Éric Duhaime, who has been hounding the CAQ leader on this subject since the start of the campaign, warns that “François Legault will not be able to save himself from it again”.
