Government financial contributions total more than $3.114 million over three years. They are granted to the police forces of L’Assomption/Saint-Sulpice, Blainville, Bromont, Châteauguay, Mascouche, Mercier, Repentigny, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Thetford Mines, the Régie Memphremagog Police Department and the Lac des Deux-Montagnes Police Board.
Minister Guilbault points out that these investments bring the current government’s investments in the fight against violence against women to more than $509 million.
