A few days after describing the skeleton, luge and bobsleigh competitions at the Beijing Olympics, Nils Oliveto traveled to Los Angeles to present his new film. Confessionema crime drama filmed over 10 years, had its world premiere there at the Golden State Film Festival, where it won Best International Film.

Held at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre, located on Hollywood Boulevard along the Walk of Fame, this event has, for the past five years, been more particularly devoted to independent and emerging cinema.
In this feature film shot entirely in Montreal, the 10and whom he signs as screenwriter and director, Nils Oliveto, also a producer and actor, embodies a university professor confronting a criminal past in favor of an investigation led by a detective (the late Serge Patry) about a series of unsolved murders.
We don’t know yet when Confessionem will be presented in Quebec, but negotiations to this effect are underway.
