Conference of the employers’ organization | Boris Johnson expresses his love for Peppa Pig

(London) At the employers’ organization’s annual conference on November 22, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he had great admiration for the preschool character Peppa Pig, stressing that it was an inspiring model for the UK economy.

Boris Johnson was speaking Monday morning in front of British business leaders at the annual conference of the CBI employers’ organization, deeming that “the pandemic”, “the problems of the supply chain” or even “the prices of the energy “and” labor shortages “still weigh on the UK economy.

The British Prime Minister in particular called for a “green industrial revolution”, to help the British economy to rebound after the pandemic, but also to keep his promise of a rebalancing between the south and the north of the country.

However, in a moment of bewilderment, the Prime Minister chose to share the episode of his life when he went to visit the Peppa Pig World amusement park. Boris Johnson thus declared that the little pink pig was a “symbol of British creativity”, exported to 180 countries, not to mention the many theme parks not only in England, but also in China and the United States.
