Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey are among the American stars who have contributed to the financing of a new scholarship bearing the name of the Quebec director at Concordia University.
Created last year, the Jean-Marc-Vallée commemorative fund — the amount of which exceeded the initial objective of $50,000 — will be used to finance an annual scholarship for students at the Mel-Hoppenheim School of Cinema Concordia University.
Jennifer Garner and Naomi Watts are also among the personalities who worked with the director, who died in 2021, who contributed to the fund.
