Andalusian sounds at more than 2,000 meters above sea level. The Cosmo Jazz Festival is a moment out of time, at the foot of the Argentières glacier (Haute-Savoie). The music blends into a unique landscape. An unforgettable experience. “It’s very moving. It’s so unusual, and then it’s strong”, says Louis Winsberg, guitarist of the “Jaleo” project. But getting there takes a bit of effort.

A good hour of climbing for more than 2,000 festival-goers, and finally, the reward. A free show with a breathtaking view of the Chamonix valley (Haute-Savoie). These concerts in the mountains, it was André Manoukian, songwriter and media personality, who had the idea. As a child, he spent all his vacations in Chamonix. Today, he has settled there with his family. And if he decided to create this jazz festival, it is to highlight the music, but also his city of heart.
