A disturbing image. At the end of a rough match against Austria, which the Blues won 1-0, Kylian Mbappé left the pitch with a bloody nose in the 90th minute, unable to finish the match, Monday June 17. Transported by ambulance to hospital, the new Real Madrid striker had to undergo x-rays to determine the severity of the injury and the consequences for him.

This injury was caused following an aerial duel between the Frenchman and Austrian defender Kevin Danso, whose shoulder Kylian Mbappé violently hit (86th), before remaining on the ground and then being replaced by Olivier Giroud.

“His nose is not good at all. Always ready to prepare for all scenarios, the coach nevertheless said that “the French team with Kylian will always be stronger. If the news does not go in that direction, we will fight without him.” The president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Philippe Diallo, present at the match, nevertheless affirmed to Radio France that the player would not suffer “no operation”.
