49 outbreaks of avian flu in France
In France, 49 outbreaks of avian flu have been confirmed on farms. With the move to the high risk level throughout the country, breeders are sheltering their poultry. “We know that through confinement we will reduce these risks. Vaccination will also reduce the risks”, explains one of them. Since the beginning of October, vaccination has been compulsory in farms with more than 250 birds.
