Computer systems outage disrupts Canada’s airports

(Ottawa) The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is experiencing a partial outage of its systems that is affecting customs processing at Canadian airports.

She announced the news on the social network X on Tuesday afternoon, but did not specify the cause of the outage.

The CBSA says it is working with its partners to resolve the issue and apologizes for any inconvenience the outage may cause.

A spokesperson for Montreal’s Trudeau airport says customs clearance is slower than usual, but there is no major impact on the airport so far.

At Toronto Pearson Airport, the outage is affecting customs kiosks in two terminals.

The airport says travelers using these terminals may experience longer wait times at customs.
