Saturday will be the hardest day of the weekend. In the direction of the departures: orange at the national level and red in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and on the Mediterranean arc. In the direction of the returns: red. Many major roads in the country will be severely disrupted, from 9 a.m. until mid-evening. The peak is expected between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.. Many holidaymakers are expected on the A13, A11, A10, A6, A7, A8, A9, A20, A71, A62, A61 and A75 motorways, as well as in the Mont-Blanc tunnel towards France.
Sunday will be green in the direction of departures, with the exception of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Mediterranean arc, classified orange throughout the day. It will be red in the direction of returns at the national level.
Monday August 22, traffic difficulties are still expected in the return direction, with traffic classified orange throughout the territory. In the direction of departures, only the Mediterranean arc is classified as orange.
