Mitchell, of Sherwood Park, Alta., won gold in the individual sprint last summer at the Tokyo Olympics.
In weightlifting, Hannah Kaminski of Calgary won bronze at 49 kilograms.
Those two medals boosted the Canadian tally to six.
Four years ago in Australia, Canada won 82 medals.
