(Utica) Despite a comeback in the third period, the Laval Rocket lost 3-2 in overtime against the Utica Comets on Friday in an American Hockey League duel.

Alexander Holtz scored the winning net with an accurate shot from the top of the slot after starting a climb behind his net.
Tempers flared after Holtz’s overtime goal. Over 85 penalty minutes were awarded in total on the streak considering multiple fights.
AJ Greer scored twice in the first half for the Comets.
Akira Schmid stopped 20 shots in the win.
Rocket defenseman Corey Schueneman got a goal and was an accomplice to Tory Dello’s net in the loss.
Kevin Poulin made 32 saves for Jean-François Houle.
