The Semailles association, located in the green belt of Avignon, celebrates its 25th anniversary and invites the general public to a day rich in events, with in particular the discovery of its organic, local and solidarity market shop and the shop nearby but not only !

You can visit the new gardens:
- The Mediterranean forest garden is a harvest garden both cultivated and wild which mimics the forest (but in a spirit of selection of edible or multi-support species).
- The mandala garden of the 5 senses is a petal garden intended to awaken the senses
- The reception garden is a container garden exposing different types of natural, urban and peri-urban gardens.

You will also find theagroecological walks, to explain and show the agro-ecological approach undertaken by Semailles with:
- Market gardening trials on living soil (no tillage, composting),
- Biological and preventive control (by entering the greenhouses) against aphids, thrips, mites on tomatoes, eggplant cucumbers by introducing predatory insects such as macrolophus, cysts, Tuta sexual confusion, aphid paraisoids and/or pollinators (bumblebees).
- Introduction of host plants to house these long-term insects (borage, calendula).
We don’t forget thebiodiversity workshops, a photo exhibition by Thomas Bohl, and an evening concert.
On-site catering with food trucks that cook Semailles vegetables.
