Jack Roslovic will miss four to six weeks with a broken ankle, the Columbus Blue Jackets announced Monday.
The 26-year-old forward fell in action on Sunday against the New York Rangers, at his 400e match in the National League.
Drafted 25e in total by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015, Roslovic totaled 73 goals and 198 points.
The Columbus native has two goals and eight points this season in 14 games.
The Blue Jackets also called on defender David Jiricek from their Cleveland subsidiary in the American League.
Drafted sixth last year, Jiricek provided a goal and three points in 10 games with Columbus this season.
The Jackets are 0-3-2 since November 4.
The team will play again Tuesday night at home, against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
