Colorado Avalanche | Jonathan Drouin will miss the first round of the playoffs

(Denver) The Colorado Avalanche announced Saturday that Quebec forward Jonathan Drouin will miss the entire first round series against the Winnipeg Jets.

The former Montreal Canadiens color wearer suffered a lower body injury during the last game of the regular season against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday. He left the game in the second period after falling near the boards.

Drouin set a new personal mark with 56 points this season. He scored 19 goals in 79 matches.

The Denver team also recalled attacker Chris Wagner, defender Brad Hunt and goalkeeper Arvid Holm from the Colorado Eagles.

The Avalanche and Jets will meet for the first time on Sunday at 7 p.m.
