The Colombians won 2-0 against South Korea on Tuesday for their entry into the competition.
For the last match of the first day of the group stage of the World Cup, Colombia won against South Korea (2-0), a victory which places it at the top of group H, tied with Germany, victorious over Morocco (6-0). In a boiling Sydney Football Stadium with the presence of many Colombian supporters in the stands, the “Cafeteras” opened the scoring, on penalty, thanks to Catalina Usme (30th). Then the nugget of Real Madrid, Linda Caicedo, 18, who is playing her third world this season (World U20 and U17) in addition to the Copa America, doubled the bet on a strike on the left side, helped by a handball from the South Korean goalkeeper (39th).
For their second match, the Colombians will meet Germany, one of the favorites of this World Cup, on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. (live on France 4).
