A 33-year-old driver was arrested in the early hours of Saturday for impaired driving after being involved in a collision in Brossard. Those affected by this accident were injured, but there is no fear for their lives.
The collision between two vehicles occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Boulevard Lapinière and Boulevard Taschereau.
“The four people involved were transported to a hospital following injuries [et] everyone would be out of danger, ”said François Boucher, spokesperson for the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL).
Two women and a man were in one vehicle, and a man was in the second car.
The police urge citizens to avoid the area for the next few hours. An investigation is underway to determine the causes of the accident.
